Third Eye Film Productions is seeking an experienced documentary producer to help take our slate forward.

We have a range of docs in early development, all of which are original and exciting subjects. The first has already attracted some significant commissioning interest and we plan to capitalise on the wider interest generated by the success of our last major project. We need an experienced producer to start immediately, initially both to help hone the pitches and widen the net for potential funding, and then move the projects forward.

All projects must and will be fully funded and therefore fully paid, with additional appropriate ownership/royalty shares.

We may be looking for a producer to work permanently within the company or in a co-production capacity if you already have your own company. Given the range of projects in development, we may be looking for more than one additional producer. London-based producers are preferred but not essential.

Third Eye Film Productions was set up by directors/producers Robert Cannan and Corinna Villari-McFarlane. Their last film, feature doc ‘Three Miles North of Molkom’ was one of the best-reviewed documentaries of 2009 and was on national theatrical release last Autumn. It was nominated for Best Documentary at the British Independent Film Awards and was an audience favourite at many film festivals including IDFA, Hot Docs and Edinburgh. It won the Audience Award for Best Feature at the Gothenburg International Film Festival. It is now available on Virgin, BT Vision, iTunes, LOVEFiLM and from all major DVD outlets.
