The Role
New Video is looking to fill a full time freelance production position supporting the VP of Production and the Production Manager with domestic and international DVD and Blu-Ray authoring.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all stages of the DVD and Blu-ray production process for titles across multiple product lines from start to finish, including menu design, authoring and QC.
• Manage several titles simultaneously in various stages of production, ensuring all titles are completed on time and within budget.
• Maintain the flow of information to internal staff members
• Coordinate requests and trafficking of delivery assets including masters, bonus content, art, screeners, captions, subtitles, etc.
• Adhere to delivery deadlines and ensure projects are on schedule.
• Review, route and approve menu pages, DVD-Rs, BDRs and check discs.
• Review and approve packaging comps for bonus content,
• Attend weekly production meetings, update group on status and required follow up.
• Work with Production and Operations to coordinate various stages throughout the production process.

Qualifications
Experience in DVD Production required. Managerial experience preferred.
Must be familiar with DVD authoring process.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.
Must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while shifting priorities as needed.
