Freelance Position –Motion Graphics Artist

Mothership is looking for highly creative Motion Graphics Artists local to the Southern California area (close to Thousand Oaks is a plus). You must be motivated, competent, timely with deadlines, and most importantly creative. Mothership prides itself on providing the best possible product for its clients, which means that motion graphics will go through several internal phases to create something we are proud of before it reaches the client. Mothership places a high value on internal communication and idea sharing; freelancers are treated like part of the team. With that privilege comes the expectation that not only will creative feedback be shared, but also potential scheduling conflicts and complications.

We do not have a specific requirement for your years of experience with creating motion graphics. Talent is talent and your portfolio will be judged on its content and not the number of clients you have had. With that said, we also value someone who understands professionalism and the process of dealing with corporate clientele as these are typically the types of jobs that we undertake.

Skill requirement: After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator (Final Cut and Flash are a plus)
