BAM Photographers
Germany
Ben and Martin, aka BAM, have photographed and directed the global campaign for the all-new electric Mazda CX-6e, created together with Scholz & Friends.
The idea was to build a look that feels modern and future-facing, yet warm and human across out-of-home, social, and film.
Shot under strict confidentiality, the team worked with a top-secret prototype that had to be cooled down between takes due to sunlight exposure. Not the easiest setup, but one that pushed the process in an exciting way. This is just the first chapter, with more to come.
BAM are a German-based duo of photographers and directors specialising in lifestyle automotive shoots. Their work blends high energy with a spontaneous, effortless feel, shaped by movement, light, and a strong sense for candid moments. They work worldwide with clients including BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Kia, Volkswagen, Mazda, Ford, or Audi.

Ela Rüther is a professional food photographer with her own studio in Cologne. She photographs delicious food for magazines, publishers, and advertising clients in the food and catering industry. Ela works with a team of experienced food and prop stylists who ensure that the images look both professional and appetising, while remaining authentic.
Since last year, Ela has also been offering AI-generated images and hybrid photo shoots - with the same approach of yummy and authentic food images. As well as photos, she also creates short video clips. Ela is convinced that AI-based work and traditional photography are not mutually exclusive, but will coexist in the long term. At the moment, it is important to clearly indicate which images are AI-generated and which are not.
The photos featured in this Spotlight were captured for different clients as Rewe, Einfach Hausgemacht, and Nestlé. Ela’s clients appreciate her constructive and creative approach, which is why some have been working with her for years. These include Rewe, Eckes Edelbrände, Jacques’ Wein-Depot, Vorwerk, Wajos, Zwilling, Aldi, Rabenhorst, and Bonne Maman, as well as smaller companies and publishers.

''The title image was created as a teaser visual for the global campaign of the BMW Vision Neue Klasse X, produced in collaboration with the creatives Amadeus Weineck and Matthew Page from the advertising agency The Game.
It served as the teaser for the entire campaign, which included more than 120 assets from out-of-home visuals and social media content to press shots - all produced in collaboration with Sterntag Berlin under an all-in-one production approach.
The winning image was shot on the outskirts of Barcelona, Spain, at a beautiful, rounded house located in the hills. We developed the idea of positioning the car behind movable structures to create intriguing teaser visuals that would introduce the upcoming campaign.''

Kirberg Fotodesign

"Since 2002, I have been designing special commissioned artworks, initially conceptualised for my diploma thesis at the University of Applied Sciences in Dortmund, Germany, and titled 'TRANSFER_ROOMS'. This unique style of still life offers an innovative way to showcase your company at trade shows or to enhance your business spaces.
To begin, we capture industrial photos representing your company's products or specialties. Working closely with the client, we determine the essential elements to incorporate into the art pieces, which I then design in my photo studio. Next, I merge these elements—such as company colors and technical drawings—into mixed-media displays, which are later integrated into the TRANSFER_ROOMS.
The final artworks feature high-resolution photos laminated behind plexiglass, offering a refined aesthetic that elevates your company's spaces into works of art and design."
