For over 25 years, Luminosa Production has been crafting its expertise across Switzerland and beyond, bringing its distinctive touch to projects throughout neighboring countries.

"I began my journey in the fashion industry in the mid-1990s. After studying fashion design at the Marangoni Institute in Milan and completing a two-year trainee program at ESCADA, I moved to Lugano, Switzerland.

I started my career as a freelance fashion stylist, working on international productions and traveling extensively. Over time, my interest shifted from the creative side of a shoot to the complex production behind it — the people, logistics, and global coordination that bring creative visions to life.

In 1999, my husband and I founded Luminosa in Switzerland. In 2005, I stepped away from styling to fully focus on production and the development of the company. When my husband had to step back from the operational business due to health reasons, I took over the leadership of the company. Today, I continue to guide Luminosa, turning creative visions into reality.

Luminosa Production is based in the south of Switzerland, right on the Italian border. This unique location naturally led to an expansion of our services into the Mediterranean region, with a strong focus on Italy and the South of France.

Locations are certainly the foundation of every shoot. This year, Luminosa discovered many new spots beyond the usual areas, continuing to provide its signature worry-free service, supported by a solid network and years of experience.

Based in Switzerland, Luminosa offers services primarily in neighbouring countries — but also wherever clients need to go.

This year’s destinations included Malta, the island of Gotland in Sweden, and cities such as Frankfurt, Düsseldorf, and Berlin. In Italy, Luminosa explored Lake Como, Liguria, and Lake Garda, as well as the south of France, the French Alps, and Belgium. The company’s own location archive now includes thousands of options.

2025 is a milestone year for Luminosa Production — the boutique production company is celebrating its 25th anniversary.

And the year couldn’t have started any better. From January onwards, Luminosa has been working on a series of stunning projects. Just to name a few:

• Capturing the beautiful light and landscapes of the South of France with Anna Schürrle

• And the ever-beautiful Lake Como, which set the scene for Best Secret’s latest campaign
