Sander de Wilde shoots people for a living. His portraits and stories show a poetic touch and feel. He is a curious man, someone who never chooses the obvious.
Trained as an advertising photographer, Sander advanced into photo journalism when he moved to Brussels, working on assignments ranging from studio shoots to capturing portraits and stories all over the globe.
Sander's people skills and his bold documentary-style attract a variety of clients. His work has been published in international media including Le Monde Magazine, The Guardian, The Times, The Wall Street Journal, Die Welt and e.o., and he has worked for clients such as DuvalGuillaume, Ogilvy, Saab, Volvo, Nestlé, The EU Parliament, Philips, IG Metall, Georg Fischer and many more.
Sander is represented by Getty assignments (worldwide), De Beeldunie (NL) and Imagedesk (BE).

Sander de Wilde is a versatile photographer who shoots portraits, documentaries, and image libraries for major corporations, advertising agencies, and design firms. His photographs capture a situation in an often original and authentic way using a visual language that can be clean, intimate, different and original, depending on the story his clients want to tell. He is just as comfortable running a full production as he is working on his own.
Born Dutch, yet living in Brussels, Sander is the favourite photographer for many international clients booking him directly, but he is also the assigned photographer for Getty Global Assignments and others.

Educated at the Royal Academy of Arts in The Hague, Sander de Wilde worked at several studios before starting his own business in 2002.
He moved to Brussels in 2008, and his bold but subtle documentary-style portraits have been used by international editorial, press and corporate clients such as Le Monde, International Herald Tribune, The New York Times, The Guardian, De Standaard, and more.
Sander is widely experienced, flexible and easy to work with. He feels at ease shooting scenes and people, both on location and in the studio.

Sander de Wilde is an experienced Dutch photographer who is based in Brussels. His mantra: "Let's keep photography simple."
Over the past ten years Sander has developed his own unique style of high contrast, documentary-like images. He enjoys working both on location and in the studio.
"Whether it is with my portraits, fashion or documentary images, great pictures shouldn't need a lot of post production," he says. "Creativity is also about keeping productions small, flexible and effective."
