New Zealand born and Sydney based photographer Rene Vaile is renowned for his vibrant portrayals of contemporary pop culture.   
   
Rene’s work is both considered and spontaneous and reveals a ‘joy for life’ that make you envious of the adventures portrayed.
   
Rene started shooting skateboarders and moved on to document the world around him shooting love, nature, friendship, music, the beautifully mundane and the quiet life…       
   
He’s shot bands such as Architecture in Helsinki, Sons, Beachers, and he shoots regularly for Oyster, Russh and ID. His commercial clients include Sportsgirl (Australia) and Urban Outfitters (USA) who have flown him to South Africa, Argentina, NYC and New Zealand to shoot their edgy campaigns.
