The Spanish Association of Model Agencies (A.M.E.) is an association founded in 1986 by the most important model agencies in Madrid and Barcelona. Of a private nature and with no profit motive in mind, its basic aim is to protect the interests that both associates and models have in common.

In the development of its activity, A.M.E. keeps permanent relations with various Associations in the  Fashion and Publicity sector: Asociación Española de Anunciantes, Asociación Española de Agencias de Publicidad, Asociación de Productoras Publicitarias Españolas, Asociación de Fotógrafos Profesionales... For this purpose, A.M.E. organizes Conferences in which representatives from the different Associations meet, with the assistance of Model Agencies as well as other companies and organizations related to the Fashion and Publicity world.

Likewise, it sends periodical informative newsletters to its Associates and protects their interests offering them accountant, fiscal, and legal services.
