Goodgate produced three commercials for T-Mobile / Deutsche Telecom with director Laszlo Kadar. All of them have been casted and shot in Barcelona.

Within only 10 prep days, a huge cast and nine shooting days with 3-4 location changes per day had to be organized. But with a great team, trust and enjoyment of the job, Goodgate makes everything possible.

The 4th spot was shot in Asturias & Madrid with director Nico Beyer for Nissan.

January 15. Bcn: 21º C, Sunshine - The New Year started warm, sunny & full of challenging projects.

We finished exciting shootings for Danone, Kellogg's, Chupa Chups, Amena and BBVA, as well as a complex 3 day shooting for Henkel - one product, 4 brands, 4 country versions (France, Germany, Italy & Spain). After that, we were able to enjoy our holidays and now we have started again working on projects for Renfe and Mastercard.

2004 started early for Setup Productions: A collaboration with InHouse Paris for Lane Crawford Retail Hong Kong saw our team again busy in the streets and hottest locations of Barcelona. Photographer was Ramon Escobosa, Styling: Macarena Nico, MakeUp by Juanvi (Servimatge).

Insitu produced the worldwide campaign for Philip Morris, the product was L&M cigarettes.

This campaign was shot in different cities of the world, trying to pick up the feeling of each place. This time they took the best of Barcelona: Two Dj's created the best environment to shoot more than 20 models at different parts of the city.

Barcelona PLATÓ Film Commission   Barcelona movie production

Barcelona keeps up as a set - After the 277 productions that came to Barcelona Plato Film Commission looking for assessment during 2003, the action seems to be far from relaxing. There are already 12 different production crews working on projects since the 1st of January and four more projects starting again after being held in stand by.

2004 seems promising for the audiovisual industry and for Barcelona's image. However, it will be hard to exceed the 41 feature films that were shot in Barcelona in 2003 (almost twice as much as the year before), the 42 documentary films or the 61 TV and Video programs.

A good report that we are ready to improve during this year, offering the whole industry our help and improving the Barcelona Plato Film Commission service.

In Vitro Films S.A   Barcelona movie production

"The Hours of the Day" and Jaime Rosales have been nominated for two Goyas in the categories of "Best Screenplay" and "Best Novel Director".

The movie, which portrays the daily life of a serial killer, received the prestigious Fipresci Prize, awarded by international critics at the Cannes Film Festival and was later nominated for "Best Novel Director" in the European Film Awards.

This warm welcoming from national and international critics will hopefully set the stage for success at the award ceremony on January 31st.

Frog, the most successful animated series in Mipcom 2003:

Frog, the new animated series D'Ocon Films is producing with Universal Pictures' subsidiary, Ellipse Animation, has been a revelation in this past edition of Mipcom 2003.

Frog got splendid critics from all the industry, because of its freshness, innovation, rhythm and great production that the Catalan company has been developing together with the French. Distribution is shared by D'Ocon and TF1, who immediately got interested in the new product.

Frog has 78 episodes of seven minutes each and turns into the reference for animated series of 2004, closing multiple deals worldwide.

The photographer Jordi Blancafort shot the Naulover campaign spring/summer 04 in the Hotel Arts with top model Cristy Hinze. René Lopez de Haro did the styling and Juan Cansado did the hair &make up.

He also shot the catalogue Priorité, lingerie and street wear, with the model Angela Zamora. Montse Ribalta did hair & make up. The photos were taken in an old XII Century house, with wonderful horses.

The latest campaign of Ana Sebastian spring/summer 04 was shot with top model Ivana Vankova. Gilberto Yañez did hair & make up, Núria Farré was responsible for the styling.

Enric Aromi   Barcelona advertising photographers

An exhibition of Enric Aromi's work can be seen at the Galerie Benchaieb in Paris. It started on 1st December and runs until 29th February. Following this artist's recent success in the United States (he has representations at galleries in New York, Miami, Chicago and Seattle), he has set out on his European "adventure" at one of France's best galleries of contemporary art.
 
Given the importance of the work, the Galerie Benchaieb will keep a representative selection of Enric Aromí's art as his representative in Paris.

"Entijuana Luz Natural", a daylight studio located in the centric area of Sagrada Familia, presents its latest productions:

Photographer Jonathan Miller shot the spring/summer 04 campaign of Mistral.

The marketing team of the Set Iberica, S.A Group (Moulinex, Krups, Taurus, Ufesa) spent four days in the comfortable studio to plan the new image of its products.

Jordi Blancafort shot the spring/summer 04 Pulligan campaign, men and women.
The stylist was Agnes Bonet, the hair & make up was done by Gilberto Yánez.

Jordi also shot the campaign for Bio Point, hair products, from the Henry Colomer group. The model was Maria Sanjuán and Fernando Torrent did hair & make up.

The American top model Amy Wesson landed in Spain, care of SS&M, to lend her image to Pronovias, becoming the viewpoint of the well-known photographer Alfonso Ohnur.

Another top, who recently visited our country, is the male model Evan Kidd, protagonist of campaigns such as Valentino, Burberry or Hugo Boss. He can be seen in the latest edition of Tendencias through Victor Moscardo's lens. The very same photographer is the author of images, also for Tendencias, of the Russian model Valeria Zuban (SS&M), who is settled in Barcelona.

The footage library Framepool AG offers more than 700 hours of film material, all available online and expanding constantly. The main subjects are landscape, wildlife, architecture, sports, people, technique and economic features.

Its historical archive is increasing as well. By the end of 2004, the biggest online footage agency in Europe intends to double its capacity up to 1.500 hours of material, which can be searched by keyword and instantly previewed at the website.

Miquel Arnal shot the fashion catalogue for Genfins on a Land Rover Convertible, built in Birmingham in 1953.

For the spot of "Orange Mobile Phone" we had to transform a Peugeot 406 into a Police Car. This Police Car was the result of a study of different Police Cars around Europe. It was full equipped with Megafon, lights, sirens, radio, (we listened to the local Police), and a partition wall to isolate prisoners.

For a Video Clip with a Belgian singer, a Mustang, built in 1971, was needed, with a 5000 cc motor, painted and personalized. It was a car from the scrap yard and had to be totally rebuilt. The spot were taken in Barcelona, with the singer and our precision driver Jordi Milian driving.
