Goodgate has just finished shooting a spot for the worldwide launch of the new 4-door Mercedes CLS. Shooting over 5 days in Barcelona & Madrid we pulled in lots of toys: R1, Stab C head from Paris, the "soft sun" 100,000w lamp from Munich, steadicam, 3 camera crews etc.

Creating traffic jams we closed major streets & squares in both cities, leap -frogging between the 2 taking advantage of Sundays & public holidays...
Over 800 extras & 450 cars, bikes & trucks helped us create controlled "real life" situations.

Insitu Locations & Services S.L   Barcelona photo production

Insitu produced the latest catalogue for the German fashion firm Holy's. It was a mixture of funny situations related to the gardening world. Photographer: Monika Menez.

Photographer Maarten Schets came back with the fashion catalogue for Claudia Strater.
This production combined shots of nature from the French Pyrenees with a minimalistic urban location.

Diagonal Avenue was the setting for a spectacular car photo shoot for Peugeot 407 coming this time from France. It was the still campaign that followed the famous TV commercial.

In Vitro Films   Barcelona movie production

The shooting of the TV Movie "Sprint Especial" will start at the end of July. Co-produced by In Vitro Films and Trivisión, the screenplay was written by Pepe Tienda and Miquel Peidro, and will be directed by Juan Carlos Claver.

The movie is based on the true story of the cyclist Javier Otxoa, who will be played by Ismael Martínez. Other actors will be Aina Clotet (Edurne), Beatriz Carvajal (Mercedes), Juli Mira (Eduardo), Sergio Caballero (Txomin) and Israel Rodríguez (Roberto).

The first edition of the "Premios Abanico" awards was celebrated in Madrid on 24th June with the participation of the AME (Spanish Model Agency Association) and lots of personalities from the fashion, advertising and communication business.

These awards were invented and organised by Gina Porcar to recognise and promote the work of all professionals who work in the fashion, advertising and communication business.

28 representatives from the Associations of Model Agencies (AME), Photographers (AFP) and Casting Directors voted in the different categories under the supervision of a notary public. The ceremony was presented by model Verushka and actor Daniel Freire together with the president of the AME José María Martínez Frías and the Vice President José Saiz Robres.

The new summer campaign for Burberry Baby's Collection was directed by Ivan Hugo, Burberry Kid's Art Director since 2002.

He combines both collections in one story following the family concept.

Mecal   Barcelona film events

The 7th edition of Mecal, the International Short Film Festival of Barcelona, will take place from 27th August to September 4th at the Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona (CCCB).

Throughout the festival, a selection of short films from all over the world will be projected from 6pm until 12am in three spaces within the CCCB: Pati de les Dones (open air), the hall and the auditorium.

Mecal has four competitive sections (Official, Obliqua, Documentary and OK Computer) and non-competitive sections dedicated to the most varied subjects: Advertising, Video Clips, Women etc.

At the same time, the Mecal Music Festival will take place at the City Hall club, with DJ sessions from midnight until sunrise.
