First Service Factory has recently produced the new spot for SEAT´s international tactical campaign “Price”. Jamie Lane from London was the director and the spot was produced in Manresa.

The casting was done in Barcelona and London. Holland will be the first country to air the ad.

Andergraun Films, S.L.   Barcelona movie production

The film Quixotic is a free adaptation of Don Quixote. In making it, the technical and artistic crew went on an idealistic journey (vital and cinematographic).

Alongside the two lead characters, the main topic of the film is the relationship between these two journeys. On an artistic level, the film does not depict ‘the narration of an adventure’ but ‘the adventure of a narration’. And In a vital way it can be considered as ‘the first movie about Don Quixote made by quixotesque people.'

In Vitro Films S.A   Barcelona movie production

The shooting of the TV Movie Family Book started on 19th of January. Co-produced by In Vitro Films, TVC and Canal Sur, the screenplay was written by Ricard Figueras and Pau Garsaball, and it is directed by Ricard Figueras, the well-known Catalan producer behind In Vitro Films. This family comedy, starring Antonio de la Torre, Inés Díaz, Lluis Homar and Alberto Lozano, tells the story of Virtu and Ramon, a couple who want to have a child. They’ve been trying without success for quite a while, and Virtu is tired of all the gynaecological tests she’s being put through to determine why they can’t have children.

 

On top of all this, Ramon’s long-lost father, Cándido, suddenly comes back into his son's life. He's just got out of jail and wants to start a questionable business with his son. Things begin to get out of hand and their marriage enters dangerous territory.

 

Barcelona Plató Film Commission   Barcelona movie production

Barcelona Film Commission - the first step to shooting in the city. In 2004, 402 productions of the 900 or so shoots that took place in Barcelona sought the assistance of the city’s Film Commission; an outstanding number compared to the 118 that were helped in 2000.
Thanks to better coordination and cooperation with other city council departments involved in the authorisations for the shoots, Barcelona Plató Film Commission has increased its activity by 240%, since it started its activity at full efficiency in 2000. In 2004, 35 films were assisted by the Film Commission, as well as 51 documentaries, 100 TV and Video programms, and an outstanding 126 shortfilms, the genre with the highest increase.

Such results confirm not only that the city keeps up with its appeal as a set, but also that the city council structure is strengthening its ability to coordinate the non-commercial filming activity in Barcelona, through the Institut de Cultura (ICUB).

Stereorent   Barcelona event production

Stereorent was charged to carry out the audiovisual coverage of the 13th edition of La Marató of TV3. The 2004 edition was posted to raise funds for the fight against cancer, and it happened to be the biggest money raiser in its history, with 7,436,881 euros. Throughout the whole day the donations could be seen rising up the scoreboard, consisting of a 10mm resolution screen, of 8x2 panels (5.12 metres wide by 1 metre high). A giant 6mm resolution screen of 12 square metres was also installed, showing different videos.

Thanks to the success of the screens, the producers of TV3 bet once again for Stereo Rent, installing three large 6mm resolution screens, two covering more than 20 square metres and another of 14 square metres, creating a modern stage for El Métode Larson. The programme was hosted by the well-known Miquel Calzada, who showed a new method to quit smoking.

On 14th December, the Spanish final of the well-known "Ford Supermodel of the World" was held, organised in Spain by Group Models. The winner was Barbara Garcia and she went on to the World Final in New York on 12th January. Although she didn't win, she got a really good response and was highlighted as one of the favourites.
 
Our gorgeous Javier de Miguel has appeared in the new Gucci campaign for the coming Spring-Summer season, which was shot in Los Angeles by Mario Testino. He was shot together with beautiful Poliane. He was also at the Fashion Week in Milano, and run exclusively for Gucci; he also ran for Valentino and Calvin Klein.
 
Vanessa Lorenzo has appeared at the Spanish Vogue Novias, shot by Enric Galcerán.
 
David Guilló is already out at the "T.I.M." campaign in Italy.
