At the age of 13, Edzard Piltz started to document his own life and that of his friends with a picked-up plastic point-and-shoot camera. By cultivating some of the spontaneous elements of documentary photography, he has since then developed a distinct and unconventional style of hyper-reality and hard-edged beauty.
Today, Edzard is a highly sought-after creative photographer based in Paris, Berlin and New York. His clients include: Amazon, Coca Cola, Ebay, Levi’s, Lucky Strike, McDonald’s, GM, Reebok, Sony Ericsson and Vodafone.
