Fernanda Preto Sao Paulo photographers

Fernanda Preto was born in Brazil in 1978. She received an associated degree in Photography and Graphic Design from the Panamericana School of Arts in São Paulo in 2000, and graduated from Tuiuti University of Paraná in 2005 with a Bachelor's degree in Visual Arts.

Her work has been selected by several important photo exhibitions including Itaú Cultural Art Institution for the Mezanino Project of Emerging Photographers, Erotica - the senses in art, at Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil, and a solo exhibition at Diana Lowenstein Fine Art Gallery in Miami, entitled 'The Lesser Sight Exhaled'.

Fernanda has lived in the Amazon for three years where she has worked on environmental and social issues for clients including Nestlé, Getty Images Latin, The Nature Conservancy and Moore Foundation. She is currently based in São Paulo and is available for assignments worldwide. She also has a project entitled 'Ensaio Pitanga', in which she photographs women's sensuality.

Fernanda mostly works on reportage and travel assignments such as portraiture and editorials. She is represented by Novus Select agency in New York.
