Altana Films   Buenos Aires commercials production

Altana Films worked with Stink, London on the latest Heineken campaign for the Irish and European markets. The shoot lasted nine days and made use of locations all around Buenos Aires province, including Balcarce, Dolores, Escobar, Downtown, Villa Gessell, Pinamar and Las Flores.

Trains, helicopters, action cars and Cadillacs, a Heineken truck, a motorcycle and sidecar, a techno-crane and a big party on the beach were just some of the equipment and themes that made it into the spot. AGUIRRE FILMS   Buenos Aires commercials production

Aguirre Films has a specialised tabletop crew with which it shoots both locally and internationally. The company is one of the leading names for tabletop commercial production in Argentina, working with clients including Danone, Cerveza Schneider, Bimbo and Agua Villavicencio, to name just a few.

Two new directors were recently added to the Aguirre Films roster:

• Alberto Lecchi has directed eight feature films, some of which have received international recognition, along with more than 30 commercials and three TV shows, (9 Lunas, Mujeres Asesinas and Epitafios for HBO), for which he received the Martin Fierro Award for 'Best Director'.
• Federico Badía has shot commercials for clients including Nokia, Axe, Pepsi, Rexona and Telefónica, among others.

Aguirre Films recently added a photo production division to provide an integral service in terms of complete audiovisual production.

Red Creek Productions   Buenos Aires commercials production

Red Creek consolidates its place as one of the premier production facilities in the Americas with offices in Buenos Aires, New York and the Caribbean (Costa Rica).

• Red Creek produced the latest music video for Universal Music's Florent Pagny, considered by some to be this generation's most important French artist. Directed by Plastico and produced by Martin Feigielman, the shoot took place between Patagonia and Buenos Aires and was commissioned by Universal Music Paris. Directors: Plastico. • Red Creek also produced a series of Nike commercials for BBDO (Argentina), also directed by Plastico. The spots feature football superstars Fernando Gago (Real Madrid CF) and Javier Mascherano (Liverpool FC), both with the Argentine national team. The company is currently shooting a series of spots for Mastercard, as well as completing work on a documentary directed by Nicolas Entel on the life of Pablo Escobar.

Argentinafoto   Buenos Aires photo production

A selection of recent projects from Argentinafoto:

• Marcos López created an amazing piece for Keppel&Matta's Musimundo campaign against music piracy.
• Raúl de Chapeaurouge was in charge of Mariana Marquez and Kevin campaigns and has just completed a series of "chocolate portraits" for a special project developed by Nestlé Gold.
• Lucila Blumencweig shot the 'Hoody Moments' campaign for Nike in France, Italy and England, with football players Rio Ferdinand, Marco Materazzi and Vincent Clerc through BBDO worldwide. Lucila was also in charge of the Maggio Rossetto print campaign and the 7Up Free shoot for BBDO Argentina.
• Grey G2 commissioned Juan Mathé for the latest Sprite print campaign. Juan was also in charge of the Sprite holographic campaign for Ogilvy, as well as the latest Latin American Powerade campaign with Cravero Lanis and EPIKA for La Comu. Juan will be directing the new Secret TV commercial, commissioned by Leo Burnett.

Argentinafoto recently added Chino Zavalia to its photography staff. Chino was in charge of the latest Old Smmugler's campaign, produced by Argentinafoto, and is currently working on a book entitled 'Ojo Chino' that focuses on his recent trips to India and Brazil.

7 Seas Productions   Buenos Aires photo production

7 Seas Productions finished the Argentine summer season with a big catalogue production for German client Schwab Versand and photographer Andreas Baum. Incredible weather conditions turned a late autumn shoot into a moment of pure summer enjoyment - it was the equivalent of shooting in November in the northern hemisphere, (it was of course May in Argentina), with temperatures of 28°C and sunshine for three weeks.

7 Seas moved south to Patagonia and its 'capital', Bariloche, to prepare for upcoming snow shoots. Bariloche is the largest ski resort in South America, with a mix of Swiss-like and Colorado-style countryside within a radius of 40 Km. Helpfully, the local 7 Seas producer is an experienced motorcycle guide.

Other productions completed by 7 Seas' production manager, Facundo de Rosas, included for Costa Rican fashion client Armi Pronto, with photographer Fabien Laghi, Ford Tosquera and Renault Clio, with Mosy Abadia, and Gatorade with basketball player Manu Ginobili (San Antonio Spurs) and football star Lionel Messi (FC Barcelona), with photographers Gaby Messina and Mosy Abadia.
