In 2006, after nearly 15 years working in fashion and advertising for clients such as L'Oréal, Kodak, Fila, Asics, Fiat and Nokia, Diego Beltramo took a break to participate in a year-long project in Brazil where he got heavily into shooting emotional portraits.

Back in Europe, he has begun focusing on new directions in his photography. In 2007, he produced a series of images in which he combines production management and the pre-digital experience of set building and lighting to deeply investigate his subjects.

In 2008, Diego was awarded 1st prize in the 'Portrait-Celebrities' category at the Italian Professional Photographer Awards. Visit his website for more information.
