Born in Portland, Jamaica, Theodore Samuels has since lived in many places, from Panama to Vermont and now his current home, Brooklyn, New York.
Theodore's dad first introduced him to photography, and as he got more experience with the camera he began to explore bigger and more creative ideas with the hope that one would land him a job at an advertising firm. Plotting his career in photography, he refined his skills at Radford University with a major in advertising and a minor in fine arts photography. After college he enrolled into the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, for fashion and commercial photography.
After completing art school he moved to the Empire State where he assisted and worked alongside some of the top photographers in NYC.
