The Hamburg International Short Film Festival, now in its 22nd edition, offers a diverse film programme plus a wide range of activities and Festival Club - until 5 June.
The House of Photography Hamburg are running an exhibition of pictures from Der Spiegel magazine archive, with a special football "BallWelten" feature, from 9 June to 3 September.
Our cover was shot by Anja Boxhammer, one of the up and coming photographers chosen by Jung von Matt for the Showcase International in Zurich this year. Markus Lambert [M4 Motion] did hair & make-up, Marcell Naubert [M4 Motion] did styling, and the model is Maximilian [Kult]. Postproduction was by Wolfgang Rente.
