Istanbul-based PPR was established in 2000 as a photography-focused production company. In 2007 it became a global player and now represents 13 photographers both locally and internationally.

PPR Istanbul is spread between two buildings, the most recent being PPR Echo which was purpose-built in 2007 to provide a better production environment. PPRr Echo features a still life studio and a larger space for all other types of shoot. The studios are climate controlled and have office spaces, wireless internet connections, full bar and cafe services, and an i-Mac computer for use by clients and agencies.

In a separate building on the same street PPR has two other facilities which feature a cafeteria, internet services and a daylight studio.

PPR Istanbul has a team of 20 people to complete any job, including producers, production managers and assistants, a casting director and studio manager who are available to assist with any production.

Ahmet Agaoglu has been working as a food and drink photographer for over 15 years. He started his career in London but now has his studio in Istanbul.

He began with a more traditional approach but with the industry becoming more and more dependant on digital images, the photographer started experimenting and manipulating his work.

Ahmet was a finalist in this year's Hasselblad 2008 Masters Awards Competition in the product category.
