Atil Kutoglu
Atil Kutoglu has opened his flagship store in Turkey. The 160 m2 Istanbul location is a joint venture between the Vienna based Turkish designer Atil Kutoglu and the Demsa Group, a Turkish retail giant and franchise holder of brands including D&G, Gianfranco Ferré, Guess and Mothercare in Turkey.
The Istanbul store has a clean, contemporary and minimalist design presented with the flair of Atil Kutoglu's Ottoman heritage. Italian architect Claudio Nardi impresses with the use of contrasting materials like wood and brass in the store's interior. Nardi's clients include the 'who's-who' of Italian fashion, including Dolce & Gabbana, Valentino, Malo and Luisa via Roma. To celebrate the opening of his Istanbul flagship, Atil Kutoglu launched a leather accessories collection including ladies bags in six different designs, wallets and other items both for men and women.
Atil Kutoglu started his career in Vienna in the 90s, and has
been awarded 'Designer of the Year' several times. Over the years,
he has built an international designer brand and shown his
collections in Milan, Paris and New York.
