- Entries for the 2009 Sun Awards opened on May 1st, and the deadline for online entries for the Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize is July 6th.
- The Photographers' Gallery presents 'The Photographic Object', an exhibition exploring the physical nature of the photograph. Artists include Gerhard Richter, Wolfgang Tillmans, Andy Warhol and Catherine Yass.
- The 53rd London Film Festival will take place from October 14th-29th and is now accepting submissions.

The new Process website launched in March and continues to receive masses of traffic; the company's clients love the ease and functionality.
Despite the current unpredictable times, Process has enjoyed shooting numerous campaigns over the past few months:
- Ruud Baan shot for Puma through Select New York and completed campaigns for Onitsouka Tiger and The Dutch National Ballet.
- Leo Burnett commissioned Bill Robinson to shoot kids for fabric conditioner ads. Work with HCL, Prudential, Cinven and Centrica followed.
- This year's Sony Colour Awards recognised Matthew Murray's fantastic talent in three categories.
- Simon Thorpe travelled to Italy where he shot a series of stunning snowscapes. His supermarket exhibition finds a home at the renowned Abbott Mead Vickers this month.
- Louisa Parry recently shot her fifth Ariel campaign, a building wrap for Strongbow through St Lukes, and the latest Sony PSP campaign.
- Spring saw Gareth Sambidge shoot his second commercial for McDonald's, as well as photographic work for Asda, Waitrose and GQ.

From his London base, Mike Ellis shoots people on location throughout the world or just around the corner.
Whether shooting portraits or photographing lifestyle with a reportage feel, he strives to capture a natural essence from his subjects.
Two of his most recent projects have included a trip to Croatia for the European Bank and a 'Healthy Lifestyle' campaign for The British Heart Foundation, shot entirely on location a few miles from his west London studio. Tim Hill - Fab Food Pix London food & drink photographers
The website fabfoodpix.com is an online stock image library specialising in high quality food and drink photographs. All images were shot by Tim Hill in his north London food photography studio.
Clients can organise custom shoots by arrangement. The studio has an experienced in house food stylist and maintains a collection of props and backgrounds.
The studio's workflow handles digital file sizes up to A3 at 300 dpi. The online image library has a word search facility, or alternately a subject search can be requested by email or telephone call.
Ordering and access to images is done via secure server.
