Now in its 26th year, the AOP Photographers Awards are regarded as THE photographic awards within the industry. This year’s entrants had the opportunity to enter 19 categories across personal and commissioned work.

In 2009, the judges selected five Silver Award winners, 23 Bronze Award winners and also the ultimate accolade, the AOP Photographer of the Year in association with Epson.

This award was presented to recognise and highlight the talent of one AOP photographer who has excelled in this year’s awards. The AOP Photographer of the Year for 2009 is Karin Berndl.
