Alexei Rozenberg was born in Tomsk in 1957 and studied architecture at the Academy of Architecture and Civil Engineering on Alma-Ata (Astana), where he completed a Ph.D. thesis in architecture.

He has been working as a production designer on feature films since 1988, with his work appearing in movies including 'Woman of the day', 'Tick', 'Kiks', 'Gongofer' and 'Fish in love'. Since 1991 Alexei has also been working in the advertising industry and has received numerous awards at the Moscow International Advertising Festival and the Golden Drum.

He has worked as a freelance director for a long time, but since 1996 he has been represented by production companies Park and Ball-Park with whom he has completed many successful projects. Alexei highly appreciates both companies for their professionalism.
