- Anifest India 2009, August 13th - 16th. India's biggest animation festival will bring together some of the world's best animation names from companies including Pixar, Dreamworks Animation, Electronic Arts, ILM and Sony ImageWorks.
- Lakme Fashion Week, September 18th - 22nd at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, Mumbai. Top designers and leading fashionistas alike will gather to celebrate one of the country's defining fashion events.
- The 11th Mumbai Film Festival will be held between October 29th and November 5th, with the call for entries remaining open until August 20th.
