Bhairavi Parikh is a fine art photographer based in Mumbai. She has been practising as a freelance professional for the past six years. Besides a solo show held at the Centre for Photography As An Art Form, Piramal Gallery, she has shown at several Exhibit A events, organised by the Photographers' Guild of India. Bhairavi's photography sells at exhibitions and she is regularly approached by private buyers.

The images featured in this Showcase are from Bhairavi's recent series entitled "Take Me To The Beach". They were shot one hot afternoon on expired film with a Mamiya 645E at a beach in Alibaug, and are the subject of a book that is available from the Blurb bookstore.
