Calibre Pictures and Ideas was conceived in 2000 with the objective of creating visually and conceptually strong images. Consistently winning awards that range from Singapore's Creative Circle Awards to One Show in the US and Cannes Advertising Festival in France, most recently Jimmy's images for FHM won a Cannes Gold Lion and the Best of Show at the Creative Circle Awards 2008.

Over the past few years, Calibre's partnerships have extended to Australia and Shanghai. Most recently, the company added Thailand to its map and acquired new partners Chamni's Eye to provide mutual production support. Calibre also represents the best of Chamni's Eye's photographers. Together with Austalian partner Katapolt and its Chinese counterpart, the company is confident of providing quality production value and images of the highest calibre. Other regional expansion plans are in the pipeline, allowing image production that extends beyond local shores.

The creation of a stunning image does not depend solely on the photographer: teamwork is essential. Calibre's producers coordinate and project manage, ensuring a smooth and seamless transition from paper to print. Besides its excellent photographers, Calibre's production team is highly experienced in all matters of production, from location scouting to casting.

Clients include RSAF, PSC, Health Promotion Board, Citibank, HSBC, DBS, UOB, OCBC, Starhub, Samsung, Sony Ericsson, Osim, Chivas Regal, Volkswagen and Jet Airways, to name a few.
