Szymon Swietochowski Warsaw photographers

Szymon Swietochowski was born in Poland in 1983. He took his first steps in image creation at the Higher School of Art and Design in Lodz in 2002, beginning his professional photography career in 2004 with a series of non-traditional fashion pictures for a range of Polish lifestyle magazines.

At the age of 23 Szymon received his first nomination for a Cannes Lions for his Converse campaign. He has also won a Golden Statue in the main Polish advertising competition KTR.

In the beginning he focused primarily on photographing people, but his work has evolved to include advertising, landscape and still life. In 2007 Szymon began shooting for some of the biggest names in Poland, including Samsung, Toshiba, Axe, Renault, Iveco, Energizer, Unilever, Converse, Ferrero, Martini and Amnesty International. He has since come to be recognised as one of the leading photographers in his field and now works for international clients such as Adidas, Coca-Cola and The Discovery Channel.

In addition to his advertising work, Szymon has begun shooting for a landscape album due to appear in the middle of the year and accompanied by an exhibition.
