Originally from New Zealand, Peter Bannan studied film and went on to work in the film industry. Exhibiting his personal photography led him to creative collaborations with NZ fashion designers including Karen Walker, Zambesi and Nom-D, as well as fashion shoots for a variety of magazines.
Peter established his own film company and after several award-winning campaigns for clients including Sony, he began working internationally. Working across photography and moving images, as a photographer, director and DP (often doing all three roles on his projects), he is able to produce both still and moving images for a campaign.
He likes working with people, telling stories and creating character in his images. His work has a naturalistic, personal feel, and is often hand-held and spontaneous.
Clients include Sony, Nokia, Qatar Airlines, McDonald's, Intel, Fujifilm, M1 Mobile, Philips, Coca-Cola, Hyundai, Qantas Airlines, Country Road, Samsung, J&J, Moccona Coffee, Moritz Ice Cream, Bendon Lingerie, Television NZ, Air NZ, Oyster Bay Wines, Maggi and House of Travel.
