Born and raised in Israel, Yossi Michaeli's interest in photography developed when he was in his 20s while travelling in South East Asia, New Zealand and South America. He began his career while living in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, Brazil.
Yossi has collaborated with prestigious publications and clients
such as L'Officiel, Marie Claire, Harper's
Bazaar and H. Stern. He enjoys shooting both in the
studio and on location, and his style has been described as bold,
innovative, strong and graphic.
He recently shot a 14-page story in gorgeous Punta del Este,
Uruguay, for L'Officiel Brazil, and also added Nokia
to his client list after shooting a campaign in Brazil. His
upcoming projects include Vogue Hellas, Vogue Brazil,
and L'Officiel Brazil (cover and editorial).
