Ad Wood was founded in 2001 by a group of people determined to use their creativity and film-making skills to make an impact on the Czech advertising market. Shooting with skilled directors and professional crews, the company has since produced a number of award-winning TV commercials and brand campaigns for business clients and charitable foundations.
Summer 2009 saw a successful collaboration with Danone on two commercial projects, Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech starring as the face of the Czech Savings Bank, and director Kevin Fitzgerald shooting a playful commercial for Vodafone.
The rest of the year has been dedicated to documentary work. In collaboration with HBO, Adwood co-produced a bold project looking at the sado-masochism community in the Czech Republic. The programme is due to be aired at the end of the year.
