Milagrito Films was founded in 1997 in Montevideo, Uruguay. Its team of directors, executive producers, designers, art directors and post producers has gained widespread recognition for the quality and originality of its work, with industry accolades including Cannes, Clio, Fiap, El Ojo de Iberoamérica and The New York Festival.

Uruguay combines European tradition with cosmopolitan culture and enjoys the most competitive shooting costs in South America. Milagrito Films has five first-class directors, an area exclusively designated to production services, and an in-house post production zone. With strategic partners in Argentina, Chile, México, Brazil and the U.S.A., the company has access to a broad range of locations, post production companies, casting, production professionals and technical equipment throughout Latin America.

• Casting: A broad range of ethnic groups and nationalities of European, African, Asian and Native descent.
• Locations: A wide variety of landscapes, ocean beaches and architectural styles, all in close proximity and complimented by a moderate seasonal climate.
• Equipment: Local suppliers provide ARRI 16mm and 35mm cameras, RedCams, Carl Zeiss and Ultra Prime lenses, ARRI lighting, grip, dollies, cranes, generators and trucks. Milagrito entrusts first-rate regional suppliers with laboratory work, transfers and colour management of all productions.
