    Al MacDonald is a food and advertising photographer conveniently located near Chicago's O'Hare airport. For over 35 years, he has been commissioned by leading food companies and restaurants from a number of countries. Al and his current business partner, Renee, have created an impressive body of work for the food industry. They have extensive experience in producing photos for frozen food retail packaging as well as B2B advertising, recipe illustration and foodservice applications.

    The 5400 sq. ft. studio facility has a comfortable client lounge and an extensive prop room. The large, fully equipped kitchen has KitchenAid Pro series appliances along with additional commercial refrigeration and freezers. Al uses a large format Sinar digital system which produces files capable of enlargement for point-of-sale posters as well as trade show booth displays and outdoor boards.

    Bill is very adaptable and can either work from his central London studio base or on location, recently having enjoyed numerous trips around Europe and the UK. He has a technical and an innate understanding of light and composition that has led to his widespread popularity.     Munich: Einwanger Klaus - food art factory  

    Klaus Einwanger shoots digitally from his Munich and London-based studios as well as on location worldwide. He has established a great pool of food and prop stylists and is known for his unique eye for detail.

    Featured in this Spotlight is one of Klaus' latest productions. True to the maxim "mixing business with pleasure“, he travelled to France to inspire himself for a forthcoming book production. With a mixture of reportage and food photography, he recorded fields of sacks filled with oysters stretching as far as the eye could see - the only colour amongst all the grey being a few tractors in the mud. All of Klaus' images were produced in his Munich-based studio.

    Miami: Jose Manuel Vidaurre  

    Jose Vidaurre is a Miami-based photographer and digital retoucher, specialising in beverages and "liquids in motion". He works at extremely high resolution, usually stitching many captures for each project.

    The first images featured in this Spotlight are part of the "Be part of it / It's Miller Time" 2011 global campaign, currently being launched across 68 countries. Jose not only did the photos and digital retouching but also created the visual concepts, working in close cooperation with the advertising agency.

    The remaining images are part of the "liquid art" series, two of which have been selected for the 2012 "200 Best Advertising Photographers Worldwide". All images in this series were created by shooting clear water and adding colours digitally.
