Hubertus Schüler is a food, stills and fashion photographer based in Bochum. Working for many years from his own fully equipped studio complete with professional food kitchen, in 2010 he became a member of EXPOSE Photographers.
Using light like an artist, Hubertus' food and stills photography is filled with inspiration, passion and perfection. Shooting advertising, cookery books, editorials and packaging, he is skilled across a wide range of disciplines.
Hubertus has received Gold and Silver medals from GAD - the German gastronomy academy - for his brilliant work with Björn Freitag on a number of cookery books. For the same project he also received a 'Gourmand' Cookbook Award for best cover Europe-wide. In October, Hubertus won two Silver medals for his current book projects.
Food clients include AMC Kochgeschirr, 'Sternesnacks' cook book, Pizza Hut Express, Le Buffet and 'Rauchzeichen' cook book with Angelo Menta.
