Ron Bambridge works in advertising, design and editorial. He has recently been shooting products on location, both inside and out.
Clients have included Selfridges, Matalan and Superdrug. Undaunted by his clients' requests, one particular brief from the St. James Group involved shooting a collection of exclusive bathroom ware in a series of dramatic locations. Photographs were used to illustrate a special limited edition book publicising a new multi-million Pound development in Kensington, London. The project took him from the Sahara Desert in Morocco to the top of a snow capped mountain near Mount Blanc and on to the Highlands of Scotland, where, after searching for and discovering just the right waterfall, his assistant and designer had the unenviable task of carefully placing by hand each bowl on its own rock.
