Gal Oppido and Kátia Kuwabara are Brazilian photographers based in São Paulo. The pair are specialised in architecture, interiors and performing arts (dance, music and theatre) and have been published in top magazines and website titles including Vogue, Casa Vogue, Folha de SPaulo and UOL.
Gal was named 'Best Photographer' at the 1991 APCA Awards and teaches photography at MAM/SP - the São Paulo Museum of Modern Art. His own fine art works are held in private and museum collections and he has participated in exhibitions in Brazil, the United States, Cuba, France, Portugal, Germany, Angola and Netherlands.
Kátia’s work has been recognised by the Brazil Institute of Architects and the Secretary of Culture of the São Paulo Government.
With sensitive eyes for light, form and composition, Oppido & Kuwabara seek to capture outstanding images to translate the architectural intent. Clients include Louis Vuitton, Tishman Speyer, Even, Brookfield, Cyrela, Hotel Unique and Cristalino Jungle Lodge.
