MVP Partner Tom Mason returns to his first love - scouting - after 20 years 'kicked upstairs' to production coordination. Tom honed his instincts for finding the perfect location as an instructor at NOLS, where he learned essential expedition skills and developed a passion for photography. After earning his photography degree from the R.I.T, Tom worked as Location Scout/Manager for legendary photographer Jay Maisel's unprecedented advertising career. Eight years later, Tom founded Mason Productions, providing scouting and logistics for a growing roster of preeminent photographers. In 1995, Producer Emily Vickers joined Tom to form Mason Vickers Productions.

Mason's scouting kudos include assignments with Nadav Kander and John Doyle which earned the coveted Kelly Award in 1996. Tom's scouting for Georg Fischer helped establish the unparalleled Porsche NA ad series. His locations are fundamental to work by top tier photographers on premier clients' advertising campaigns.
