For the cover story of German women’s soccer magazine 11 Freundinnen, photographer Darius Ramazani shot Lira Bajramaj, one of the most successful female soccer players in Germany who has a promising future in the national team. Bajramaj was born in Kosovo and fled with her family to Germany in 1993. Darius captures her beauty as a professional athlete and as a young modern woman with a moving life story.

For the magazine Golden Arrow Darius took a close look at South Africa. Beyond the advertising clichés he captures the authentic life of the South African people. Together with publisher Sven Ruhs who initiated the magazine, Darius worked on the 128-page declaration of love to South Africa, written in German and English and that is totally advert-free.
