Jude Edginton’s first commissions as a freelancer came from the unlikely world of video games. “I started working for this well designed games magazine called Edge in the 90s. I tried to make game geeks look like rock'n'roll bands. Suddenly I got calls from Japan asking if I would travel there to take publicity portraits of leading game developers. For a while I was adopted by this strange world."
Jude now lives in London and has established himself as a leading portrait and commercial photographer. Clients include Channel 4, the BBC, Adidas, Nike, Microsoft, Mobil 1, The Times Magazine, Shortlist, ESPN The Magazine, The Sunday Times, The New York Times, and GQ.
His latest shoots include Taylor Swift, Nick Cave and Danny Boyle.
He is a winner of the Picture Editor awards 'Magazine Photographer Of The Year' and has twice been nominated for the British Press Awards.
