New York: Simon McDermott-Johnson
Simon McDermott-Johnson, photographer and passionate observer of ‘the game’, combines two of his greatest loves: sport and photography.
"Capturing the beauty of athletic grace is one of many reasons I love shooting athletes. Whether photographing a fitness specialist or one of the world’s greatest athletes, creating dynamic, compelling imagery for my clients and for myself is what I love to do.
"The sport and fitness photography genre suits me very well because I consider myself a passionate observer of ‘the game’. Intellectually, I enjoy the game within the game, training in technique and mechanics, and even the mentality every passionate participant brings to their training regimen and ultimately their chosen sport. I allow my experience in this perspective to influence not only my photos but also how I organise my crew of talented professionals in order to achieve the goals of even the most challenging photo shoot."

Berlin: Sonja Mueller Photography
Sonja Mueller is an established photographer who works extensively across sports and music. She is recognised in Germany for her distinctive editorial, advertising and portrait work with leading publications. Since being selected by Getty Images at the Cannes Lions Advertising Festival as one of the new up-and-coming photographers of 2007, her work has found a worldwide audience.
Sonja's strong and unusual lighting schemes fuse with dynamic compositions to forge a transcendent vision of a twilight world that is simultaneously real and unreal, earthly and sublime. Her technique is bold and innovative, enabling her to create photos that, in the words of British photographer and publisher Rankin, are iconographic without looking unnatural.
Last year, Sonja worked several times in China and Malaysia. 76management is her new agency in Poland and she has already had a number of opportunities in eastern Europe. She was also recently part of a worldwide Puma campaign and continues to work towards her latest exhibition. Sonja currently lives in Berlin.
Clients include Daimler, Casio, Adidas, Nike, BMW, Audi, Puma, General Electric, Bruno Banani, Fleurop, Siemens and Triumph.
