Simon McDermott-Johnson, photographer and passionate observer of ‘the game’, combines two of his greatest loves: sport and photography.
"Capturing the beauty of athletic grace is one of many reasons I love shooting athletes. Whether photographing a fitness specialist or one of the world’s greatest athletes, creating dynamic, compelling imagery for my clients and for myself is what I love to do.
"The sport and fitness photography genre suits me very well because I consider myself a passionate observer of ‘the game’. Intellectually, I enjoy the game within the game, training in technique and mechanics, and even the mentality every passionate participant brings to their training regimen and ultimately their chosen sport.
