Peter Mathis is known for his clear, minimalist images that underline essential, dynamic emotions. Man and nature play an important role in his work and life.
Peter runs a small studio in Hohenems from where he passionately works on portraits and product photography. He also loves working on location regardless of whether this is up high mountains, in the sea, or somewhere in between. The images featured in this Spotlight were created during a trip to Iran.
When not on assignment he regularly works on his own black and white book and art projects. His latest book was awarded 'German Photography Book of the Year 2013' in the landscape category. He is also recognised as a Hasselblad Master.
His client list includes Willy Bogner, Völkl, Marker, Kästle, Descente, MSR, Blum Beschläge, Schubertiade, and many others.
