Get in the Frame and become Food Photography Famous!

Pink Lady® Food Photographer of the Year 2018 has opened the shutter for its seventh year!

To celebrate, the Awards are serving up a delicious feast of seven new judges and exciting new categories too.

New jurists are Ferran Adria, iconic chef of the oft-voted world’s best restaurant, El Bulli, Jenna Close, American Society of Media Photographers, Henry Dallal, Photographer, Sheila Dillon, The Food Programme, BBC Radio 4, Pierre Koffman, legendary 3-Michelin starred chef, Alison Morley, Documentary Practice and Visual Journalism, International Center of Photography, H.E. Ali Bin Thalith, Secretary General, HIPA.

To spice up the process, David Loftus, hugely influential and respected food photographer, is to be Chair of the Judges, while categories include for the very first time, Student Food Photographer of the Year to facilitate the next generation.

Our own founder and CEO Andreas Von Estorff continues to be on the panel and you can check out the full judging panel for 2018 here.

“It just gets better and better each year – from Austria to Australia, Kuala Lumpur to Kent, the standard of entries is exceptional,” says founder and Director, Caroline Kenyon.

“It’s so exciting to see the amount of recognition our winners receive in the media across the world. And it’s incredibly rewarding to hear about our finalists’ amazing success stories, photography commissions, road trips, invitations to host workshops and master classes in far-flung corners of the globe. That means a huge amount to my team and me.”

Production Paradise are also once again proud sponsors of the Food off the Press category.

So, if you think your food photography or film could send the judges into seventh heaven, why not enter now. Closing date for entries, 6 February 2018.
