Matthieu Belin’s website features women and men’s fashion, celebrities and portraiture, documentary and art photography. He has worked with magazines including Vogue, GQ, Elle, Surface, Life, Bazaar, Wallpaper and All Sports as well as brands such as Yue Sai (L’Oréal), Li-Ning, Ebel (LVMH), Cartier and Natura Cosmetic.
With 10 years experience in art direction, including a spell as Art Director with the luxury brand advertising agency Air Paris, in 2010 Matthieu created Ubiquity Photography to devote himself entirely to photography. His work has been presented in ‘Visa pour l’image’ and ‘Aux rencontres d’Arles’, in FNAC France over a three-year period, and Island 6 in China, Switzerland and Italy. He has also published a book of images of recovering drug addicts.
“Working with images echoes my desire to understand the world around me,” says Matthieu. “Each element is essential in the process of capturing photos as an art form, playing with the interdependence of light, time and contemplation. Exploring consciousness through the eye of possibility, I am fascinated by the mysteries of form and the surprising secrets it can unveil.”
