Gabriel is a photographer, videographer, and content creator from Buenos Aires, where he spent his childhood and youth. From a young age onwards, Gabriel has had a close relationship with art.
In 2003 he graduated as a graphic designer at the University of Buenos Aires UBA. During the almost 20 years of his career, Gabriel had the opportunity to explore many different fields in the visual industry, such as design, motion graphics, VFX, and film to name a few.
Among Gabriel’s recent clients, you find brands like Lubriderm, L’Oreal, Samsung and many more.
His main expertise is in the field of fashion, advertising and film. Gabriel was honored with the 1st prize in the Beauty Portrait category at the IPA (International Photography Awards) in 2015.
Currently, he is living in Europe and is also eligible to work in the US without visa requirements.

I worked with Gabriel on several different occasions, and each time, he made sure to deliver very interesting ideas and outstanding results. I handpicked Gabriel for a particularly tricky shoot for a very demanding client. The brief was to shoot around a TV shoot while we were filming, to create pictorial content as well as filming. I have to say, the guy’s a genius. Under extreme pressure, tight timelines, and confined sets spaces, he got hundreds of shots all pin-sharp and with the extra twist, you need a photographer to deliver. To top this off, he’s super positive, always smiling, and fun to be around. He’s more than just a fashion photographer, he’s highly adaptable. You won’t be disappointed.

Clearly, Gabriel's stunning images tell you that he's the right guy for your job. But what they won't tell you is what he's like to work with. So let me tell you... that he's a ball of energy. He's very creative. Very open to solving problems collaboratively. And equally at ease working with talent or inanimate objects. We collaborated on a very tricky job. Working alongside a TV shoot. And we got cracking results. I'm looking forward to being able to work together again soon.

"I started searching for what I call '¨The Perfect Hybrid' back in 2018, when I came across a bunch of unconventional vintage lenses while doing some research. I wanted to synthesise the vintage look and feel of analog photography with the advantages of modern technology. High Dynamic Range and the flexibility of RAW files being used with modern editing software helped me achieve this. After my first experiments, I started cooperating with Capture One Pro, and later I directly started applying this technique in my work for the advertising industry. Always in between lifestyle photography and fashion, 'The Perfect Hybrid' is now an established part of my skill set."

Prague - New York: Gabriel Matula
"Since the year 2019, I had the chance to cooperate with Samsung Cz and Sk in promoting several of their key products, such as the Samsung Galaxy 10+, Samsung Galaxy Note, and Samsung Smart Watch 3, among others.
This cooperation gave me the opportunity to explore creativity under extremely diverse circumstances in terms of light and technical conditions. By combining lifestyle photography with product photography, I also had the chance to explore several non-conventional vintage lenses from the 70s and 80s. These lenses perform as expected granting a very unique look & feel, texture, color palette, and overall mood."
