About
My name is James and I’ve been working as a photographer since the mid 90´s.
My photography area has always been influenced by my interests in life. It started with skateboarding and then moved on to snowboarding and the search for the endless winter.
After hundreds of travel days in winter landscapes my interest for cars started grow bigger and bigger which brought me to where I am today.
To describe my photography I often use the words action related lifestyle photography.

James Holm car & transportation photographers
James Holm works as a photographer since the mid nineties. First he was focusing on skateboarding and action sports, his first love.
James' father, Bengt Ason Holm, was also a photographer and author. He produced books about cars. James joined his father in famous car factories in Italy and England and got to see his father working. When James took his driver's license, skateboarding and action sports was slowly switched to cars and is now the thing James is focusing on.
When James' journalist colleagues started using his photos for their articles, James started to write texts for his photos. A bad picture is almost impossible to fix, a bad text is always fixable, as long as you have a feeling about the car and how to drive it.
James doesn’t sit down and wait for things to happen. James makes things happen.

James Holm has been working as a professional photographer since the mid-'90s. His photography area has always been influenced by his interests in life. It started with skateboarding and then moved on to snowboarding and the search for the endless winter. After hundreds of travel days in winter landscapes, his interest in cars started to grow bigger and bigger which brought him to where he is today.
To describe his photography he often uses the words 'action related lifestyle photography'. All the years working as a professional photographer has given him high creativity and a fast workflow with high quality.
James is based in Stockholm, Sweden, where he has his office, but most of the time he's travelling abroad using the natural environment as his workspace.
