Under his mentor's tutelage, he applied his skills to fashion photography: “Walter taught me how to become a painter with the camera,” Daniel says.
Working in the fields of portraiture, fashion, people, lifestyle, editorial and advertising, in 2004 Daniel exhibited a collection of personal work for his first individual show at São Paulo's Galeria Estação. Entitled 'Sonhação', the theme focused on the traditional Brazilian Folk Party.
Maintaining his critical overview, Daniel conceived a fashion editorial around the same subject. Published as 'The Revolutionary Fashion View' in Key Magazine, the piece was considered a turning point for Brazilian fashion editorials.
