Working and living in Amsterdam, Maikel Thijssen is a creative mind who was educated as a jazz musician at the conservatory of Utrecht. Several years ago he discovered photography as a different and appealing way of expressing his creativity, and has focussed on this ever since.

Working closely with clients to create beautiful images while keeping true to his own vision is one of the things that set Maikel's work apart from the rest. Alongside being a dedicated photographer, Maikel is also a skilled retoucher and post-production artist, retouching all of his work himself.
