Copenhagen-based British photographer Alastair Philip Wiper shoots worldwide. Alastair works with the weird and wonderful subjects of industry, science, architecture and the things that go on “behind the scenes”. His work provokes analysis of the magnificence of human ingenuity and the importance of industry and science as a cause for celebration: from the laboratories of CERN in Switzerland, to waste incineration plants in Denmark and gin distilleries and flour mills in the UK, Alastair's commissions and personal projects inspire awe and amazement.
Selected clients, collaborators and publications include CERN, Wallpaper*, New Scientist, Wired, Galleries Lafayette, Gestalten, Henrik Vibskov, Novozymes, Secret Cinema, S.N.S. Herning, Sipsmith Distillery, The Kernel Brewery, Technical University of Denmark, University of Southampton, Frontier Medical Group, Euroman, Politiken, Norwegian Magazine, Le Nouvel Observateur and The Telegraph.
