Alastair Philip Wiper is an English photographer based in Copenhagen who works worldwide. From the laboratories of CERN in Switzerland to nuclear power stations in Sweden and huge shipyards in South Korea, Alastair works with the weird and wonderful subjects of industry, science, architecture, and the things that go on behind the scenes.
He is amazed by the things that human beings create and build, and takes an anthropological approach to the subjects of his photography, seeking out the unintentional beauty in the infrastructure.
Alastair’s work regularly appears in publications such as Wallpaper*, Wired, New Scientist, The Telegraph, and many others. Clients include Bang & Olufsen, Wired, CERN, Maersk, Wallpaper*, Nokia and New Scientist.
