For many years Andreas Gerhardt has photographed and portrayed people across corporate, lifestyle and resort photography for agencies, publishers and large companies.

Aside from his commercial work, Andreas devotes himself to personal projects and prefers shooting in analogue fromats. To reach expected results his work needs to be fully concentrated.

Andreas is currently working on a project in which he uses the guidelines from Dogma95 for photography. Soon the Project Grand Vide will be published.

Portraits photographed by Andreas during his digital workflow are almost "out of the box". Intentionally, he renounces cumbersome post-processing and stresses instead the autenticity of the moment and the volitional, perfect non-perfection. Shoots with Andreas take place in a relaxed athmosphere.

Andreas works on location and in his studio in Freiburg, Black Forest.
