Marco Cauz Milan photographers

Marco Cauz began his professional photography career in 1999 after graduating from the Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, California. Moving to New York to work as an assistant for freelance photographers, he shot for Fortune Small Business and Pencil Time Inc. before returning to Italy in 2001.

Full of tales of extraordinary experiences, Marco started working as a professional back in his native country. "From the beginning, I quoted myself as a 'homeless photographer', meaning that, no matter where I shot, the quality of my work and the service I gave to my clients was more important than a studio or a steady and permanent residence for my business."

Offering such versatile mobility has led to some highly successful and diverse projects. In 2003, a major multimedia installation of his pictures made it to the 50th Venice Biennale. Following considerable work in advertising and portraits of some of the most famous names from the art and music scenes, Marco used the same approach to take portraits of prominent business managers.

His fashion and editorial work is regularly featured in national magazines. Marco is predominantly based in Milan, from where he does now indeed maintain a studio.
